Great podcast!
I started wanting to learn how to fish two months ago, when my Dad passed away. He and I would fish when life and schedules would allow. He and I were very close and with life becoming even more hectic with kids and work, etc, I decided it was time to have a hobby. I feel very close to my Dad when I’m out shore fishing in reservoirs where I live (an hour north of NYC). I have a 1 hour commute each way to work and your podcasts have energized me to try this hobby. I haven’t yet been dismayed when I’ve lost a lure (like on my first cast yesterday) and I became a gold member in Patreon for your show because you two make me feel like I could be successful at fishing and I appreciate that greatly. I can’t wait for the day I can share a photo of my first catch, but until then, I will continue to enjoy your podcast. It’s a great show full of details and humor. Thank you! Good clean podcast that I can listen to in the car with the kids who love fishing and I don’t need to worry about language etc. Jesse and Andrew are super passionate and informative and put out great shows each week. Love it!
