The events of that night in the woods remain shrouded in mystery What is certain is that around 4 a.m., during a routine journey to Little Rock, a cargo train engineer looked ahead on the tracks in horror. He saw the 2 teens lying side by side on the tracks, partly covered by a green tarp. They were motionless, not even flinching as the locomotive grew closer Despite the engineer's efforts, the train was unable to halt in time, running over the boys. Tragically, Kevin and Don died. Initially the medical examiner ruled their deaths as accidental.
