Description
Christ’s agenda was not to promote breaking the law or stir rebellion—he was no rebel without a cause. His agenda was to heal, restore, and free the lonely, oppressed, and imprisoned. Christ’s accusers displayed self-centered jealousy and a hunger for authority, power, and control. However, Christ displayed selflessness and the desire to free and empower others. His agenda was to heal the wounded and show them the genuine love and life that exists in the will of God.
