“So I guess I should start at the beginning. Three years ago I started playing NFL dfs. I was pretty good in my home fantasy league and thought I could jump into dfs and do pretty well. Boy, was I wrong. That first year of playing I didn’t not do well at all. I was what some consider a toilet drafter. Drafting lineups on the can and not thinking about anything other than who looked decent at their price. I would either break about even or lose.
Fast forward to the next football season. I find a podcast called Awesemo NFL DFS. I work a job that allows me to listen to podcasts all day so it was very convenient for me so I figured Id give it a try. I couldn’t do any worse than the season before. Enter Stokastic analysis and dfs theory. I start listening and they start opening my eyes to not just great plays but great ways to think about dfs. How things that I had never really considered before like ownership and leverage were just as important as price and player matchup. I definitely seen an uptick in my winnings that season. Since, I had done so well in NFL, I began to play NBA because Stokastic also covered that.
Fast forward to last season. The first season that I actually went into the dfs season with confidence that I could actually make some money. I was starting to understand more of the overall dfs theory and understanding why you do certain things such as stacking and bring backs. I just felt like I had a true grip on how to play well. That confidence came from listening to Stokastic podcasts on the daily. Any show I could listen to I would. These guys were not just opening my eyes to dfs, they were also entertaining. I had my best season ever last year. I actually took first place in a few tournaments. I can say with all honesty, that does not happen without the guys at Stokastic. I truly am so appreciative of all the hard work the guys do. I then carried that momentum into the NBA season continuing to listen to anything Stokastic put out. Had a very good NBA season. Which then led me to play MLB and Nascar this year. Won tournaments in both sports my first season because of the projections at Stokastic.
All the guys at Stokastic are great dudes!! All seem like guys you could go get a beer with and talk sports. No, I haven’t been able to quit my job and live on a island somewhere (yet) because of Stokastic but I can truly say that this group of guys has taken me from a below amateur status dfs player to a confident player who has a real grasp on dfs. They don’t just tell you who, they tell you why. Do not expect to win a millionaire maker the first day you listen to the show but I promise if you consistently listen to the show you will become a better dfs player. Period.
If that’s not enough of an endorsement, understand that a father of two, who is running all around to practices, school events, working, etc took the time to write this long review. It’s because I owe these guys some much and it’s the least I could do.
