“Wow. I am nowhere close to being a mother but I do work with children between the ages of 10 months-5 years old. I love every part of my job but I see the struggles that parents face that you touched on in your podcast. It’s so important to give them support and reassurance that they are good parents and that their child is capable and wonderful.
I want to thank you for bringing up the shaming that comes with motherhood, pregnancy, parenthood, etc. because unfortunately it’s real and it happens to everyone I know who have children. I’ve seen my friends get so broken down by people who think they are better mothers than they are and it’s all because of how society has created pregnancy and parenting to be like a competition. Thank you for speaking out on that. I appreciate it so much! I’ll definitely be tuning in to this podcast and telling my friends about it :)
