“My husband and I (yes, my husband watches with me!😊) are fans of The Bachelor and when I heard you guys were starting a podcast I was so excited! I became a mommy a year and a half ago, and I just love being able to relate to what you ladies are going through.
Jade, I had to have an emergency C-section at 36 weeks with my daughter who was 5 lbs when she was born. So although our experiences were completely different I feel like I can totally relate to you and everything you’ve talked about thus far! I can’t wait to hear more experiences as Emerson starts hitting major milestones, it only gets more fun from here on out!
Carly- Congratulations on your baby girl! I can’t wait to hear about how your first few months being a mommy are. Just remember that the newborn stage is short so as hard as it is to “enjoy” it, try to savor it because believe it or not you will miss it! Try not to bite Evan’s head off, I remember it being all too easy to take my exhaustion and hormonal mood changes out on my husband😂
Liz- it’s refreshing to hear your support from a professional standpoint. Becoming a mother is scary and you already have so many doubts about yourself going into it, so I really appreciate when you say this experience isn’t about your beliefs or opinions, it’s about the mama’s experience and what she wants. Thank you for that!
Love the honesty. Love the laughter. One subject (among 100 others!) that I’d love to hear you ladies talk about is how having a baby has changed your marriage/relationship. How do you keep things alive between you and your man when it’s SOO easy to get caught up in parenthood and being a working mom. Also, how has motherhood changed how your view yourself? Ok, long post over. Point is, I want to be friends and go get a drink or two with you ladies after hearing your first two podcasts haha! Good job and good luck with everything! You should all be very proud of yourselves!
