“Over the COVID lockdowns and the abundance of Bachelor content, I came across Dave’s channel. I have always been a secret Bachelor viewer, my dirty little reality show secret, and while the Bachelor itself gets worse and worse, Coming across Dave was like finally having a friend who I could talk to about this silly show and in the context of our current social system, which is bananas. Watching Dave build his business, remain authentic if not becoming more so as he has established himself, has been heartwarming. Many of us have watched Dave move from having to drive an Uber to being able to afford a bigger place for him and his lady, get married, and all while by being self-reflective, asking for conversation instead of cancellation, and discussing influencing and content creation with respect to late stage capitalism and financial independence. His show is not like anything else out there. He is kind but not a pushover, confident without being arrogant, and vulnerable without being self-puttying. Dave is rad and he has cleared a new path for enjoying pop culture dumpster fires like the Bachelor with a side of open-hearted, social discourse that is needed in this divisive time. While I fall in a similar place on the socio-political spectrum, I appreciate that he never shames anyone and invites those with other view points to challenge him. He is a good dude, and his new wife is so lucky to have found a man as loving and respectful as Dave. Anyway, good luck to Dave and Tasha as you begin this new venture, and I would love to have Tasha join the conversation from time to time, as I am sure she is as fantastic as Dave. Maybe Tasha Tuesdays? I also like Bachelor Fantake on YouTube, he is a sweet dude from Canada and Jess and Evan from Chatty Broads. It is a really sweet side community that the Bachelor should be thankful for. I don’t think I could watch it without them at this point. Without the dose of compassion from these folks it would just be mean on top of mean. Good job and good luck! OxO, A”
