16. Magic Johnson: Comeback attempts, coaching the Lakers, prospective Toronto Raptors ownership
Description
On Magic Johnson’s basketball ventures after his abrupt retirement from the NBA in November of 1991, when he tested positive for HIV. Failed and successful comeback attempts, dealing with tabloid rumors, becoming a media member, trying to become a team owner, a test run as head coach-- this guy did it all. I didn’t even include his time as the president of basketball operations for the Lakers or his feud with President George H.W. Bush. What a life this guy has lived. Also, forgive any weird mic stuff, my computer was acting up during recording.
