“Mr Carreyrou’s book Bad Blood was fabulous. He led you through the story of Theranos without use of biasing words. In his first two podcasts he cannot resist any longer. Words like brazen, begging and other pejorative terms pepper his narration. The listeners are not allowed to develop their own conclusions. While he adds facts and interesting new points in his podcast, I can’t help but wonder what he leaves out. Perspective is lacking. How much different is what Elizabeth Holmes did than what Adam Naumann did at WeWork? My mind then wanders to sexism at play in the bro culture and Mr Carreyrou does nothing to offset that.
