Unsure
I listened to both episodes with Ebi. She prefaces episodes stating that profanity will be used. All good, I’m all for realness! But her disclaimer is a bit of an understatement.. the swearing is to the point where it seems intentional as if she’s attempting to create a certain image. This becomes more obvious when there are stretches of conversation in which she doesn’t swear every 2 words and those bits are more enjoyable to listen to, honestly. She doesn’t swear much or at all in her IG captions. Also, asking for reviews but then complaining and calling people trolls when they leave you anything less than a glowing 5 stars? Please. You can still have real dialogue and uphold the mission of your podcast without swearing several times a minute. Less swearing = more actual content.

I started watching Katie on NY MED when I was making my way through nursing school and have been on her team since then. This podcast is everything we need to hear right now, raw and real! You go Katie! This MO ICU RN is here for it!

These are real people sharing relatable stories. Stories that not everyone wants to talk about, but should be. Nurses and health care workers are real people too and their stories are just as important.
