Very impressive
I didn’t expect too much from what I think is quite a trashy title, but the podcast is really well researched and the women’s stories amongst the backdrop of Victorian east end London is fascinating. My only gripe is that the historian substitutes her T’s for D’s in her pronunciation. Perhaps she is part American so could be a transatlantic accent? Either way, this is one of my personal bugbears so I find it really distracting. Highly recommended podcast though!!
