Insightful and well researched
Academia teaches that one should use primary sources for research, secondary or third sources viewed with caution. Also to look in archives not normally associated with the subject as this may well result in material that has lain silent. Hallie is a master of this research and has produced a very readable book and now this excellent podcast. A podcast to make one think and consider the lives of the five victims. Well supported by other academics and writers who bring new ideas to these crimes. The most chilling part so far for me? Episode four where an ex detective, he retired in 2002, talks in a disrespectful way about the victims ‘they brought on themselves’. It seems that all too little has changed in the intervening years in the police force. Listen. You won’t be disappointed
