“Loved this show when it was released. I watched it as a teenager and later again and again when I bought the DVD’s and once more after reading Stephen Ambrose’s book.
This is a great companion podcast to the show which really highlights the love and attention the creators and everyone who worked on it has for it.
One of my favourite parts of the TV show was the interviews with the veterans and it was really interesting how that and many other parts nearly didn’t make it in.
Long may the love for this show endure.
