Nostalgic look back at a great series
I served in the US Army from 1997-2018 (some of which as a Paratrooper in the 173rd) and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. This series served as a great inspiration for many an American Soldier that went to war after 9/11. Whole units would watch it together prior to deployment, as a Drill Sergeant we would let our cycles watch the series over their weeks of training; individuals and small groups within platoons would watch before hand during deployments (as well as the Pacific). I have the utmost respect for the men that served with E 1/506 during WWII and I hope they knew, or know for those who may be remaining, what an inspiration they provided.

So far all the podcast interviews have been better than the next. The insights about the production and the actual Easy Company survivors such as Guarnere are fascinating. I look forward to each new chapter.
