Makes you love the show more
It was amazing to hear from these writers, producers, and actors about how they made the show. Specifically though was that every single one of them hi lighted their main job—to tell these men’s stories and make them feel even more proud of their service and accomplishments. I love how they ran things by these men for accuracy and often asked permission for more major creative licenses. I know some of the criticism of the show in the past has been how gruesome it is, but I am so glad they explained the intentionality of that and their commitment to realism in a Michal Bay age. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves the show and has always hoped it was accurate!

Can’t believe it’s been 20 years since it aired. And now, in 2021, Ed Shames and Brad Freeman are the only two remaining E. Company members still with us. May they each live well beyond 100 with a high quality of life. To all those who served in the Allied effort, thank you for my freedom.

What a superb collection of interviews. You get a real sense of how immersed in the process the participants were from actor, writer to producer. But…..why oh why do we have to suffer the inanities of the host! Almost unbearable at times sadly, thank goodness the interviewees are so compelling.
