Great on Many Levels
So I started Starting Strength a few months ago and figured this would help me with that program. It has. It gives you additional views and some of the why/how that goes deeper than Rippetoe’s book, yet the program is the same - simple linear progression. What I didn’t expect is that there would be crossover with the reading I’m doing and podcasts I’m listening to about personal development. These guys discuss entrepreneurship, time management, life priorities, etc. Check the episodes on Voluntary Hardship and both Reynolds’ and Hambrick’s story. They are great storytellers. You’ll not only learn more about strength but also more broadly about improving yourself overall.
