Essential Listening for Baseball Bibliophiles
I have been avid, some would probably say, obsessive, reader and collector of baseball books for forty years. This podcast has been a great audio addition to my baseball reading habit. The interivews are thorough and interesting, but they are also the right length. Justin clearly loves baseball and loves reading about the game. He brings that feeling to the podcast as he asks great questions and allows the writers to riff on their work in ways that are fun for the listener. One very cool thing about this podcast is that guests include people talking about new books and also about books that may have been written a few years ago. The former helps me figure out what to read next. The latter is like reconnecting with an old friend and learning more about a book that, in some cases, I read years ago. If you like reading about baseball, this podcast is for you.
