SOULNEK was born in Athens, Greece. His first introduction to the Hip Hop culture was Breakdancing back in the distant 1992. Naturally, soon after that he began MCing alongside “Kantaris” and together they created “Drama ‘n’ Vinyl”. They participated in Active Members’ “I Ora Ton Skion”, where they met with 3 other musicians and they then created one of the most historic Hip Hop bands in Greece, named “Nevma”. Fast forward in 2003, Soulnek is 1/3 of “Os Edo”, alongside Dimitris and Christos Lainas, where they released One self-titled Album and collaborated with important Greek Hip Hop artists, such as Skinothetis (FFc), Taf Lathos & Alloprosalos (Psychodrama07). After collaborating with Greek producer RSN for the release of the album “Hriazome Diallima”, they then joined forces with Dagobah and they form “Soul System”. Since 2014, SOULNEK is going solo, while collaborating with acknowledged MC’s and Beatmakers and releases his first Solo Album “Inside My Dark Side”. In June of the same year, he joined the Bashment Records collective. As a member of Bashment Records, he has released 2 more Albums ; “Hameni Sto Diastima” in 2017 and his latest work “Trofi Gia Tin Psyhi” in 2019. SOULNEK is an MC, a Beatmaker and a DJ, specializing in the funk side of the spectrum.
