So disappointed with biased Prop Fest…go to KQED Forum instead
I love listening to Bay Curious to learn all sorts of fun quirky history about the area, and I was excited when I heard that they were going to be covering the California propositions. And then I actually listened to the episodes…and I was so disappointed. My biggest qualm is that they only dig into one side of the argument and kinda present that as the only side. Technically, they recap at the end what voting “Yes” and “No” mean, but the presentation of the arguments sometimes only consist of one person’s anecdotes, or one person’s perspective on the argument, rather than giving both sides a fair chance. If they had been transparent about the fact that they were only presenting one side, that would be fine with me, but the fact that they advertising presenting both, and then don’t frustrated the living hell out of me. I love listening to the show. But I might have to unsubscribe. At least until the elections are over. For a more balanced, in-depth presentation of both sides of the argument, I highly recommend listening to KQED forum instead.

16 years of SF and I’m still loving it. Thanks for the fun stories and can’t wait to hear more!

You can tell these reporters have a genuine enthusiasm and interest in discovering the stories behind the people and the city. They blend both past and present effortlessly...Read full review »
