“This podcast brings an incredibly thoughtful perspective to how the pandemic has been managed by the UK government. For me it confirms what I already knew...that there was extraordinary complacency and negligence at times from Boris Johnson and his Cabinet. Serious mistakes have led to a huge death toll from Covid 19 and God knows how many indirect deaths too. Added to that is the now ‘smoking ruin’ of our economy and avoidable hardship caused to people who were already struggling to manage. The only thing that has been managed well is the vaccination programme, but credit where credit is due. The Government must now reward nurses and other NHS staff with a decent pay rise. Without them, the vaccination programme would not be happening so efficiently. Well done LK for a brilliant podcast.”
