“I appreciate being exposed to other views to learn. Portions of scripture and full audiobooks Have been helpful.
Some debaters repeat “context context context” but are very inconsistent in their own sense of the word and not really explaining their context well at all but claiming they did.
Terms are not defined but just repeated as if that is an argument. there is clear lack of scholarship or authority to speak on topics such as the trinity.
Not sure the debates should be used if you are trying to learn unless it is to identify good thinking vs poor thinking or debate etiquette.
I would love to hear how KIC would explain situations in scripture that is recounted within Torah with different members of “Elohim” in view. In one passage it is YHVH, in another the angel of the lord, or the word of the lord. Just saying “Context” doesn’t explain away the two powers in heaven concept in the beliefs of pre Jesus Israel. This was done away with because the embodied YHWH in the form of the Angel or Word of the Lord but still on the thrown of heaven at the same time looked too Christian. The idea of two separate beings that were and were not each other at the same time is an ancient one. Look it up.
DRMSH.COM the two powers in heaven article.
In the same way the commitment between man and wife makes them one. Jesus and the church are one. Jesus and the Father are one. Not sure how it works. Are we so proud that we can’t say we just don’t know but these are the best words we have and we will find out when we get there?
Hope you all keep learning. It is more fun that way.”
