Inside Out is a Catholic band that was born under the banner of the Jesus Youth International movement. The members grew up around the teens’ ministry and got together to make music. The first time they came together was for a summer camp and from there they took off to create music for the Lord! Through their songs, they want to bring the infectious energy of Christ to all the young people around the world; it’s all about resonating with Christ’s love and hope. Hope is the anthem of their songs! The band includes Alvin Povo, the lead vocalist, Agnel Geo Francis who plays the keyboard, Clifford D’Costa who plays the guitar and Joubert Povo who is the drummer. The name of the band came from Romans 12:2; a band that was created to set standards against the norms transforming from the inside out. Alvin Povo, the lead singer of the band InsideOut, faced a terrifying moment when he lost his voice on stage in front of tens of thousands of fans during World Youth Day 2016 in Poland. However, what happened next was nothing short of a miracle that not only gave him his voice back but also changed his life and the lives of others.
