“Hi girls! Think this podcast is great! I think it would be great to get Joanna’s mother who is a midwife on to share her knowledge. I think this is a great platform but also feel you guys have a responsibility as public figures to be careful what you say. I feel hannah’s comments regarding her mother’s natural births in comparison to her epidural births are fear mongering. Whilst I understand these are her mother views and opinion, I feel that you have an audience of females who may hear this and it may further perpetuate fear around birth. I also feel that this segment highlighted negative aspects of pregnancy, which again is a personal experience and I understand you are trying to be informative but it’s a natural human experience that I feel the spotlight shouldn’t be placed on these issues. As a clinical professional I just feel you guys have a great platform but need to be mindful what you say to an impressionable audience.”
