“My daughter had Mrs.Friesen as a teacher for Grade2. My daughter loved her teacher and loved school. The one thing that stands out is her kindness. My daughters dad and I separated and my daughters ended up going to a friends one night while I went to the hospital for a medical emergency. When I went into the hospital I had no idea I was going to be staying for a few days . So the day I had gone to the hospital it was cold and miserable. The next day was sunny my daughter was dropped off at school and had no toiletries. Mrs .Friesen went and bought my daughter a hairbrush , toothpaste and a toothbrush . My daughter and I really appreciated her kindness . She went beyond the call of a teacher that day . My daughter is 20 now and still remembers this total act of kindness and compassion. One of my daughters favorite teachers to this day ! Good Luck !”
