“I’ve been teaching preschool since 2016. I’m graduating with my bachelor’s in December, but as I live in a state that allows it, I am already teacher of record in a 1st grade classroom. I’m in one of “those schools,” and I honestly was starting to believe that maybe I wasn’t cut out for the elementary scene. I had been searching for a podcast that might give me some hope and I’m SO GLAD I found you! I can hear the smile and empathy in your voice and it’s so comforting as a new teacher to feel like someone is in my corner. Thank you, Dr. Friesen! I already ordered the book and am looking forward to both the Academy and the Club in the future! P.S. - I implemented the hall monitor job this week and my class went from being rowdy and crazy in the hallway to now you could hear a *pin drop* when we walk the halls. Mind. Blown! -Ms. Harper”
