This debut podcast is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this interview with the recent incoming director of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Tristram Hunt. The questions posed to him by Dr Tiffany Jenkins on the complex issues relating to the plundered artefacts from Maqdala, Abyssinia (Ethiopia) probed into the challenges that a world-class museum faces in light of empire and colonial history, when there are increased demands for restitution. Highly recommend it, and look forward to listening to further episodes.

Great podcast unafraid to take on some big and controversial questions in the art world. Really rare amongst podcasts for having such a high standard of production. The many episodes that are recorded on-site in museums really evoke the place they are recorded from.
