“David is a fun and interesting character to say the least. And he is definitely behind the rope and in with all the housewives of ny and nj.
I am a super fan of the housewives (ny, nj, Beverly Hills, Potomac) and so I’m very into the inside baseball angle of this podcast. But I think what I’m struggling a bit with is twofold:
1. His stories are really long, super ramble and fail to really hit. He has all these side bars that add up to nothing.
2. He’s a bit self centered (which is fine. I don’t mind confidence and sense of fun). But I think his ego makes him a bad interviewer. He doesn’t listen and he story matches- trying to up his guest with his own stories.
3. He’s redundant. He’s all about the picture and how he looks in the picture. And how Nyc is the only city, etc. he’s not that compelling to listen to on his own. He and Jess were a good counter balance to one another. But now as the sole host I’m not sure.
I’m going to keep listening. I want to give it a fair shot. I loved him on out in the wild. It just may be early in the podcast- hopefully he will listen to feedback and adjust his style.”
