On October 18th, 2018 in Wausau Wisconsin, Heather Gardner was doing a late night trip to the laundromat with her two sons, toddler Jythin and 2-month old Benson as well as her sister Jesse. But as the girls do laundry, Jesse notices something odd about Benson, who is sitting in his car seat on one of the washers. He was freezing cold to the touch and his lips and fingers were purple. Heather begins CPR while Jesse calls 911. Police and first responders arrive minutes later but unfortunately, 2 month old Benson was already dead. Tearfully both women explain to police that they just picked up Benson from the babysitter who said Benson was just sleeping. This babysitter was 26 y/o Marrissa Tieort.
