In The Room Where It Happens!!
I LOVE listening to these men! I love their friendship, their ability to laugh along with their ability to be in tune to one another. If you are human, you can relate. If you have been deeply betrayed or only a little betrayed, they help bring clarity to human responses. If you need help wrapping your mind around how you relate to God (I.e. if you are human), their words speak to this. They love God, they speak compassionately, they aren’t afraid of difficult subject matter, they show their humanness. If you have been hurt, confused, lost, wandering, desperate, angry, lonely and sad, you will find a place to inspire you to ask questions, search with hope, seek beauty and take a step closer to your Creator. They have ministered to my heart, helped me find courage to step out to find a counselor, remember what I need and how I am designed, inspired me to seek God’s beauty. I could go on. Thank you Curt Thompson and Pepper Sweeney for letting me in to a small slice of your friendship and inspiring me (with the help of others) to seek my own help and to seek His beauty in the midst of my briars and brambles in the black of night.

I have learned so much about myself because of this podcast. Curt and Pepper are winsome and wise. I can listen to the hard topic of shame and come away feeling capable of looking deeper into my own story. I loved the last episode of this season very much. I learned the best way to help someone...Read full review »
