“Hey dudes,
So I’m listening to the PureFlix episode… when you said “Unplanned” I was caught off guard because the Catholic high school I went to made us watch it as a school. I was a sophomore, but there were freshmen there too, despite the fact that the movie is incredibly a) untrue b) graphic c) propagandistic and d) manipulative. It’s stuck with me for years and some details I’ll never forget. It painted abortion clinics & those who run them as ..unkind, insensitive ..blasé I guess. It was so wrong and everyone in that school bought it at the time. It’s really important to talk about the horrors of these films and how they impact those who watch them because movies —media in general—is MADE to emotionally impact people, to be remembered, and movies like this will mess people up pretty good. Anyway, thanks for all you do.”
