“One of the things that strikes me the most about this journalism is how far we need to go to protect women and their rights. Listening to some of the women victim blame is astonishing knowing what we know now about domestic violence victims and sexual assault victims. It’s easy to tell somebody why didn’t you just leave unless easy to remind somebody to have empathy.
