A Horror Story Sensitively Told
I’ve only found this podcast recently, but feel compelled to leave a review to say what a great job the makers have done with telling a shocking story. The podcast is scrupulously factaul but empathetically told throughout, foregrounding the many survivors’ remarkable strength, whilst sensitively drawing out how this abuse could go on for so shockingly long.

My lifelong friend is a Nassar survivor and one of the most resilient women I’ve ever known. But whenever I talk about it with someone, they can’t understand how he didn’t get caught sooner. Thank you for explaining it.

Headlines are one thing - but if we want to understand, be able to protect/support our children, we need to dig deeper. A podcast is the perfect medium and these two reporters do a wonderful job of it, without overwhelming the listener.
