“I have been listening to podcasts religiously for over 2 years now, and this is the first podcast I have decided to write a review for.
On the way to work each morning I think, “wow, if only I could break both of my arms so I no longer have to punch numbers in a cubicle all day.” Then, I remember: I have Bend the Knee.
Bend the Knee is the type of podcast that causes both your jaw to drop your eyes to water. I will forever remember listening to Sir Ezra the Watchful recalling Lyanna Stark’s powerful scene: “promise me, Ned. Promise me.” I had just finished reconciling an entire trial balance at work, yet I was in tears. Sir Ezra and Sir Matt are absolutely incredible when it comes to describing moments in A Song of Ice and Fire. You truly believe you are in the room with them, watching these scenes from the perspective of the Three-Eyed Raven.
To top it off, they are very humble. These gentlemen appreciate their listeners more than any other podcaster I have listened to. Likewise, they never forget to “plug” any of their fans/friends who provide the show with theories and insight. As a result, fans like myself are just as loyal as they are to us. I just finished subscribing to all of their social media outlets, simply because I do want to join this community they continue to describe.
