“I love these two and have bought many a THE product. The privilege these two have and don’t recognize is upsetting sometimes. They’re both doing their best, but in a recent episode Clea talked about Triangle of Sadness, called it the worst movie ever, and said it was making commentary on something that didn’t need commenting on. It’s about class privilege and who abuses who. The next story was about walking the red carpet at the Oscars after party. Clea said she felt like an imposter doing this, but I really wish there was more self-awareness of how, imposter syndrome or no, you are in a completely different social class than most of your listeners when you even get the chance to do this. I love their work to make home keeping beautiful and organization based in design, but sometimes it’s just a lot to take in the constant talk of designing houses and going on international trips first class when I’m struggling with day to day life as a cancer widow. Hopefully they take in some feedback and try and change their approach and language.”
