I really look forward to new episodes of this podcast coming out. It’s fun, fresh and with two small kids at home it’s given me a lot of practical ideas for time management, outsourcing, etc. I do find the hosts, Laura and Sarah, very similar with their attitudes and lifestyles and I wish they would challenge themselves and each other to admit when there’s difficulty and represent other perspectives a bit more. A couple of examples that come to mind: choosing to have more than one kid, where they really seem to sweep the downsides under the rug, and really never explaining what is missed in terms of parenting when there’s 40-50 hours weekly of paid childcare. I get that they’re representing a certain demographic, and all the power to them for not apologizing for the lives they lead. Perhaps they could broaden and diversify their messages with topics and guests of future episodes.

Recently, episodes have been more skewed towards child rearing and family. Would love more work related episodes! Also agree on the other reviews about the general lack of diversity of perspectives and guest speakers.

I’ve found their outlook so refreshing, as they challenge the status quo on responsibilities such as parenting,...Read full review »
