“I enjoyed listening to the Gene Tavernetti podcast. It was easy to understand, and I appreciated this common-sense approach to good teaching. The podcast shared a number of relevant considerations and important take-aways. It discussed the relationship between technology-based activities and proven teaching practices. One of the most helpful examples included a description of a cyber sandwich (from eduprotocol) which incorporates technology into think-pair-share. The podcast also stressed the importance of instructional modeling, student engagement, and learning practice. The podcast expressed that a teacher needs to be the master designer of their lesson and use technology to support their design.”
