A new world order
What an orienting podcast. I just discovered this so I am able to binge during my long drives. I’m a psychologist who has been in practice for many years. Listening to this podcast transports me to a world of meaning that is resonant with mine: the centrality and certainty of relationships in life; authentic, broken, warm, vulnerable, and secure contact we want to forge; an (delightfully surprising for me as a therapist of color) ease and credibility addressing multicultural/diversity/power issues. I’m able to get into the mind of a therapist. I can see the variety of ways people do therapy. I am engaged in the transformation process of clients who talk about their experiences. I am excited by new ideas and the deepening and articulation of ideas that we’re not yet thoughts in my mind but impact the way I work. All in a multiculturally sensitive frame. I even downloaded metafi.
