BEVApod Life: Hyraco, the new equine vet student association in Estonia with Justine Couret
Listen now
Description
Law graduate, Justine Couret, is currently halfway through a veterinary degree at Tartu University in Estonia. When the head of the university equine clinic, Felipe CorrĂȘa, suggested she and three of her fellow students created an equine association for veterinary students, they took the bull by the horns and set up 'Hyraco'. Through this they hope to improve accessibility to equine careers for all students, from clinical placements to gaining experience within the various aspects of the wider equestrian industry. They believe that the equine field offers many  opportunities, which are often overlooked, and hope to work with BEVA and other equine associations to bring those to the forefront for all students.
