After becoming pregnant with her first child, Emily identified a need for clear and concise guidance for veterinarians navigating pregnancy and parenting in clinical practice. After researching the information for herself, she decided to write a book to help new mothers make evidence based decisions about their work practices. Her book is called "Pregnancy and Postpartum Considerations for the Veterinary Team", and she now offers 'Ultimate Parenting Road Map' workshops in addition to one-to-one mentoring on the subject.
