BEVApod Life: Tackling workforce challenges in ambulatory practice with Paddy Gordon
Listen now
Description
Paddy Gordon, owner of a mixed practice and farm vet, discusses his observations and experience in vet recruitment and retention. Increasing student numbers are coming through University but equine and farm need to be given sufficient opportunity and encouragement to allow students to select these careers. Paddy will highlight how practitioners can help students with early experience as well as support students most effectively through EMS. Championing success has also been important in developing the Farm Vet of the Future competition. Paddy has 30 years experience in practice and is working with Bristol and Surrey vet schools.   Links Paddy Gordon's Facebook Paddy Gordon's LinkedIn Farm Vet of the Future Award
