Debbie Collier was making a purchase at a Family Dollar parking
lot in Clayton, Georgia, around 3 pm on Saturday, Sept 10th.
Seventeen minutes later, Amanda Bearden, Debbie’s daughter, received a text message from Debbie that read, “They are not going to let me go love you there is a key to the house in the blue flower pot by the door”
This message would be the last time Amanda ever heard from her mother again. Twenty-two hours later, Debbie’s body was found at the bottom of a ravine, stripped of most of her clothing and partially burned.
