Beyond Social – Video Is Dead. Long Live Video!
Description
Broadcast is dead, I've seen its executioner. Tim McDonald, community manager for HuffPost Live, is one of the web's most forward thinkers when it comes to the use of video for creating and enhancing communities of people. And it's completely clear, talking with him, that broadcast video is over. In its place is a different kind of video—an interactive, democratic, community-based form of video where production takes a back seat to content, where segment length is dictated by interest as opposed to commercial breaks, and where form follows function. Broadcast may be dead, but I've also seen Tim's future, and it looks amazing. Join me on the journey in this episode of Beyond Social.
