Essential listening for music parents
I’m not a musician. My daughter, nearly 9, is. It’s a daunting journey seeing her in advanced musicianship programs and not knowing where to turn or if I’m “doing it right”. Amy’s fantastic podcast gives a calm, reassuring voice to fears of parents tackling the journey with their pre-conservatory/junior department musicians. Her extensive knowledge and understanding has a beautiful level of added love, insight and concern now she’s guiding her own daughter through her musical adventures. Whether you have a history of music in your own childhood or not, if youve got a promising little musician in your care, I highly recommend listening to this podcast.

Invaluable advice from an expert with many perspectives. Amy Beth explains what goes into training young artists, and her knowledge is incredibly helpful if you are a violin teacher as well!
