Dismissing women who want natural birth is disappointing.
Comments made about women’s birth stories and not wanting intervention are way off the mark. Like women these days aren’t grateful for medical treatment. I’m sorry but interventions and medicalisation of birth are an issue. There is a time and place for such things but when women are ignored and threatened and not included in decision making surrounding their own body, you get trauma. That is the problem, it is not a “trend”women having birth plans is to communicate to doctors of their wishes not some naive dream of how they want their birth to go. Pretty disappointing.

Listening to both you girls, is like sitting down with some friends over a cuppa. I found myself so engaged with the conversation and was laughing along with the real world issues and mum life happenings. Can’t wait for more episodes.

Loved listening to you girls chat! I don’t have kids or anything even close but I feel super prepared now for when it happens in 585 years 😂 Also loved it that you could hear airplanes going overhead the whole time. Seriously though, this felt super ‘real,’ massive ups to you guys!!

Makes this new Mum feel a part of something in a world than can get quite lonely and confusing. 🧡
