Sri Kedarnatha Bhaktivinoda Thakura was a descendeant of Sri Purusottama Datta, one of the five Kayashtas, brought to Gauda by King Adisura. He was the son of the great Vaishnava, Anandacandra, and went through many tribulations in his life after his father's early passing. His life serves as an inspiration for all people on their spiritual path.
