“I’ve been looking for a good podcast with a solid introduction to ear birding for some of my beginner birding friends and this is the first one I’ve found that really works. Beth starts out with Nathan’s Pieplow’s description of sounds that help establish a common language to what we’re hearing. She groups similar sounds birds or bird families together in a way that makes sense. My personal favorite is that she employs a variety of ways to help remember individual birds.”
