Games, stuff, occasional angry man equals laughs
Headed up by a big slice of the hosts latest exploits in the gaming world, the show also takes a look at the wider entertainment world including comics, books, tv and movies. There's certainly a bent towards pc gaming but as the topics depend on what the hosts are currently playing, there's often plenty of chat on the latest console games and more than a little love for the ps vita (where all games reach their ultimate form). The hosting is honest, personable and quirky. John also asked me to mention he was my favourite (he is!), and it's always good to hear him talk about his latest gaming obsession, a ridiculously expensive projector system, full size car simulator, or latest virtual reality fad. The current hosts have a great vibe going on, mixing banter and chat with a genuine knowledge and love for gaming. Definitely worth giving this an episode a try and then go back and check out the back catalogue. Thanks to angry John, Vimesy, Beasty, Clarky and others for their hard work and for those jumping in, enjoy!

This show, and it's sister/parent show the Mature Gamer Podcast have proven to be improving show by show, and not just because they now have half-way decent microphones. It is by turns insightful, interesting, funny...Read full review »
