I’ve been a history junkie for a long time - since middle school - especially US History. And yet, these men from the American Old West are all foreign to me. I knew black cowboys were common, but that was the extent of my knowledge on them.... until now! These guys should be just as famous as Wyatt Earp, Wild Bill & the rest, but sadly due to the color of their skin they’ve been cast aside as to the footnotes. Thank you for sharing this part of history. Hopefully this is just the beginning, and one day they’ll be starring in big blockbuster movies & receive the the credit that’s due to them all. I think that big movie production co. in ATL (*cough* Tyler Perry *cough*) might be just the right people to bring these stories to the masses.”
