While I appreciate hearing a black (american) perspective on global issues, I’m disappointed by the lack of coverage about black nations (or even other nations of color). It’s a lot of stuff about ukraine, georgia, russia & Europe. For example we’ve just passed the one year anniversary of the genocide in Sudan and there hasn’t been a single episode about that. Or Congo, or Haiti, or Cuba. It’s concerning.

It’s nice to hear some of these topics covered from non-traditional perspectives.

Without this excellent independent journalism we in America would have to rely on the CNN and NY Times of it all - and that would be very unfortunate. Thank you for content and context.

Black Diplomat is an exceptional podcast whose radical approach towards understanding how foreign policy is central toward black liberation. Terrell is a visionary for starting this intellectual space because it is long overdue.
