The most addictive podcast!
Fun, inclusive, thought-provoking and refreshing - the BGL podcast is one of the best available. Although outside of their usual listener base (I’m mid-30s), I love this inclusive, joyful and sensitive podcast. Vic and Jas are brilliant hosts, and their genuine friendship shines through (no competitive one-upmanship here). I appreciate the girls’ candour when dealing with sensitive topics, drawing on their own experience in managing mental health challenges, and their great sense of humour. The podcast is clearly a beloved project for Jas and Vic, and never feels artificial or overly curated - the conversation flows and feels genuine, whether discussing serious topics (like politics, race, colourism, mental health) or more light-hearted ones (like Love Island, 90s music or the perils of wearing your wig to an MRI scan...). Consistently celebrating and supporting each other, and providing great recommendations via their weekly ‘Black Excellence’ recommendations, these two are the definition of uplifting Black Girl Magic for me.

I love this podcast soo much, I’m currently addicted as I’ve only discovered it in 2021 (the heck!). I’m binge listening all day whilst WFH 😬. Fully recommend the drunk episode 🤣🤣

Informative, insights from women younger than me in parts. In parts so many belly laughs but keeping it real. Thanks
